Do you want more traffic, publicity and links for the pages that you publish and the articles you write?
Of course you do. That is why this club exists. Pretty much every freelance writer starts out being relatively unknown in the industry. Hardly anyone knows who you are. Hardly anyone sees what you are writing. At first, hardly anyone cares what you are writing. That is the harsh truth.
Our site offers a couple of great benefits to someone like you.
Main Benefit 1
It takes a long time to build up relationships with the right people so that you can start building a name for yourself. Until you do that, you have one heck of a time getting enough people to read what you are writing. Even if you are writing above average material and really putting your heart into your work it is still hard to gain any traction.
As a member of this club, you will get more traction. As a member, every time you publish a new article on your own blog or on some popular article directory style site where you publish regularly, you will get an initial boost of visitors back to that material. The people who are visiting your new material are people who are in similar circumstances as you. They will read your new material just because you are a member here. Hopefully some of them like your material enough to want to willingly help you promote it by Tweeting it, sharing it on Facebook, sharing it on Digg, StumbleUpon or some other social media channel. Heck, you might even get lucky and earn some natural backlinks from someone’s next blog post. Sometimes that stuff happens and sometimes it doesn’t.
Even if you are just a slightly above average writer, some of that extra publicity is going to happen if you are a member here. And, every little bit of extra publicity helps. It helps us juice up our pages and it helps us build up a name for ourselves. It helps us make more money which is why we are all doing this in the first place.
Main Benefit 2
As every writer in this business knows, you need to add a lot of juice to your articles in order to get them to perform well over the long run. That is one of the secrets to success with article marketing. Of course when I mention juice I am really talking about links. Links will make the difference between an article that ranks high in the SERPs and one that ends up de-indexed by Google.
Every time you publish a new blog post on your website or a new article at some major article directory that you actively publish on your new material gets a link back from the homepage of this website. That link gets the search engines to notice your new article immediately. As a rule, every new article gets indexed within a couple minutes of this site linking out to it. Seriously. It takes less than two minutes often times.
In addition to that fast indexation, your new page keeps that link plus one or two other links from internal pages on this site. Those links stay as long as you are a member here. They help to deliver trickle traffic over a period of time. They help keep your new page indexed in the search engines. They help keep your new page ranking just a little bit better than it otherwise would.
Are these links going to push your articles to the top of the search engines? No certainly not. That is not their intention. If you think they are that powerful then you have a lot to learn about search engine optimization. These links help a little, but that is it.
There are 2 ways these links can be created.
The first way is by having this site subscribe to your article feed on whatever you are trying to promote. That could be a blog or it could be an article directory that creates feeds for its authors. Once this site subscribes to your feed, it will check every day for a new article. When you publish a new article, it automatically grabs a snippet of text from the article and then links back to your article as the original source. (Due to Google Panda, we are no longer publishing exact snippets of feeds. It creates small amounts of duplicate content.) You are much better off creating them the second way.
The second way and smarter way to promote your material is for you to do it manually here at the site. Instead of subscribing to your feed, we could just create an author account for you here where you get a username and password to log in. Then whenever you want to promote something you wrote, you can just log in here to the site to publish a couple of paragraphs about the topic. Embed a link to the original article somewhere inside those paragraphs or at the end. This method is better than the automatic subscription because it does not create any duplicate content. Plus this way you can create a link with relevant anchor text instead of just getting the generic URL link that the automatic subscription creates.
Other Benefits
As a member here you are bound to develop some friendships with other like minded people. Who knows where those friendships will take you? You are going to gain more social media followers in whatever popular social media networks you participate in. The domain authority for your own website is going to increase. The ranking of your own website and the articles that you publish elsewhere will likely increase. If you are promoting your brand then your brand is going to get a lot more online publicity than it otherwise would. There are many other small little additional benefits of membership here just like the ones mentioned.
Bringing Those Benefits Together For You
As you can see, this website and this club is all about helping you achieve your goals. It works best when you give of yourself unselfishly to help others. The more you give the more you get back. Karma is a beautiful thing.
We help each other out by sharing information on this website and by reading each other’s articles. If the information in the articles is worthy of linking to, then we link to it. If it isn’t worthy of a link then we skip it.
This is not a free for all place to go nuts with spam though. If you are caught spamming then you are history. Our intent was to have this be a place where legitimate authors and skilled writers share their work among peers. This kind of site will naturally attract spammers, but we intend to keep it as clean as possible. You are encouraged to report any spamming you come across so that it can be removed or otherwise dealt with.
There is nothing wrong with helping each other get more publicity so long as you are voting for high quality content. Isn’t that really how it works at all of these major social voting sites? People on there become fans of one another. The person with more fans has more credibility than someone who doesn’t. That is all we are really looking to do here.
If you are someone who writes good quality content, you are a generous person and you can see the real benefit of this kind of community, then please join us. Join our Freelance Writer’s Club. Let us help each other achieve our goals. You have nothing to lose.
