Keyword density isn't talked about as much these days as it used to be. There was a time when everyone was paranoid about keyword density. It had to be just perfect. You were really careful to try to get the right amount of keywords on your page without tripping any spam filters. Keyword density is important, but not so much when you are writing worthwhile useful articles that cover their topic thoroughly. If you are doing that, you will fall into the normal ideal range for keyword density without even having to work at it. The search engines have gotten to the point where they can actually tell when a page is being very thorough or when they are keyword stuffing.
